Zara: Coat Vince Camuto: boots Levis: Jeans  Loft: Sweater Our first day in Seattle we decided to visit the best little island my eyes have seen, Bainbridge.  Even though the amount of layers we wore couldn’t keep us warm, the adventure we had that day is one for the books.  We started our morning by hitting General Porpoise We started our morning by hitting General Porpoise Coffee and lets just say LA coffee shops and donuts have nothing on Seattle.  To this day I can still taste the Chocolate marshmallow donut and latte. Every bite was better than the last, honestly, I got a little sad when I gobbled my donut within a minute.  (I need to learn how to eat slow) See now I am craving one, but I have to stick to this daing healthy lifestyle. On to the day… We went to Ferrie from Seattle to Bainbridge! I felt like a child seeing the world for the very first time.  It was beautiful! Shimmering to a New Year

  Today is the beginning of a new year for me and my little Charms of Penny.  One of my many goals is to continue writing on my blog, the rest of my goals as my father has taught me I will keep them to myself and work on them rather than discuss them.  2016 brought me and taught me many life lessons I will forever take in my heart. It has taught me to be tougher (hence the boots) stronger, it has motivated me to continue to push for my dreams as a pursue to the life I choose to live, BUT most importantly it brought light to my heart again. 2016 I say goodbye to you and thank you for bringing me and teaching me those needed life lessons. Rather than not discussing the elephant in the room, I will briefly say, I had to let go of that part of my life not with anger nor frustration, but acceptance and gratefulness it was a repeated cycle that passed its course.  I am shedding the expectations I thought I …

Wine Tasting

A couple of weeks ago my cousins and I took a road trip up to Santa Barbara.  We were celebrating my cousin’s bachelorette party.  We had a very relaxing weekend soaking up the beautiful sunny day.  To start things off we decided to  cruise around Solvang’s Wineries, it was my cousin’s first time ever to truly feel the beauty of a “buzz” lets just say she handle herself pretty darn well.  Her big day is a couple of weeks away.  I can not wait to see her in her beautiful wedding dress and get to see her embark in her happily ever after with the love of her life.

Moments like these make me realize that I am incredibly lucky to be able to witness beauty with all its might. Taking the trip to San Diego to visit The Flowers Field is a place that I will definitely be visiting again.  This place was surrounded with colorful blossoming flowers every where I looked.  I was a kid at a candy store so many colors everywhere.  I could not believe how beautiful it was.  It reminded me of the Lavender Field in France, it is one of those place that I hope I can visit in the future.

  A few weeks ago I took a small road trip with my love all the way to Big Sur.  It is a location that its beauty is not explainable with words.  This flower field was so peaceful it was right by the beach.  Locations like this reminds me of how lucky I am to be alive.  In a few days I will be sharing the photographs of the complete trip.  Some of them have been posted to my Instagram @Ligerlily18 You can always catch me there on my new adventures. La Cuesta Encantada

{Dress: Tj Maxx, Wedges: BCBG, Hat: Forever 21} This is the trip that literally took my breath away.  I’ll start by saying this: my photographs give no justice to the beauty of this location. The view of this estate was breath taking in one corner I was able to see the Pacific Ocean on the next I was able to see the mountains.  The castle was a place where all the top celebrities would come by invitation and stay a couple of days in this beautiful location, people like Charlie Chaplin and Walt Disney were some of the guest that were privileged to be invited  to the castle.  As I was walking in the castle I was thinking of how amazing it would have been to be one of Hearst’s esteemed guests.   I dressed the part with my little white dress, you know and try to make it a little bit more special.  The dress reminded me in a way to the Roman era, one of the many themes the Castle held. Road Trip-Day One

As soon as summer hits, the first thoughts that come to mind is: what places am I going to discover and of course fun in the sun.  This past weekend my cousins and I decided to take a road trip to Solvang.  It is the first time that my sister, cousins, and I take a vacation together.  The memories and laughs is something that we will forever remember.  Of course the all time girl summer song is playing in my head as I type this post
