Summer Songs

Gladiator Sandals: Steve Madden //Zara off-Shoulder Printed Dress// Summer is almost over.  I know we are taught to believe that summer is “officially” over after Labor Day, but I am a very technical person sooo…summer isn’t officially over till September 22.  I think I am just in denial that summer fun is a thing of the past.  Besides, in LA we are currently experiencing a crazy heat wave.  You know where I’ll be this weekend! The beach! Soaking up the sun.  I hope you all enjoy your weekend.

Jump on It

Jumper is Vintage Heels:Steve Madden Stecy Heels  Backpack bought at TJ Maxx similar here: Leather Buckle Zipper Backpack As a Fashion Blogger I never thought it would be so hard to photograph in public locations. This shoot by far was one of the hardest shoots.  Maybe that’s what I get for believing that a crowd of fans from the Pasadena Music Festival would not try to photobomb my photos.  Silly me! This little jumper has become one of my favorite pieces of clothing.  Just as it looks it is very comfortable to wear I can not get enough on how spacious it is, so you know I let it all hang out and ate like there’s no tomorrow.  The only downside was the heels! I love them, but they are so darn uncomfortable.  It is okay though I forgive them, because I will be rocking them over and over again. (Can you say Love Hate Relationship?) I hope you all have a great rest of the week.  Positive vibes from me to all of you.

In Bloom

Moments like these make me realize that I am incredibly lucky to be able to witness beauty with all its might. Taking the trip to San Diego to visit The Flowers Field is a place that I will definitely be visiting again.  This place was surrounded with colorful blossoming flowers every where I looked.  I was a kid at a candy store so many colors everywhere.  I could not believe how beautiful it was.  It reminded me of the Lavender Field in France, it is one of those place that I hope I can visit in the future.

Gloomy Roadtrips

During the weekend my boyfriend and I decided to spontaneously take a small road trip to Hearst Castle again.  We just love taking trips it takes us away from normality into our own little world.  As suppose to last time the weather was very cold and foggy it gave the Castle I different look I focused more on photographing the location its just so beautiful.  Hearst Castle like last time left me dreaming of another era.

Cheetah Power

I am a true believer of the power of an outfit.  Let me explain myself I think that an outfit has the power to turn a crappy day into a fabulous one, if of course you are wearing a slamming outfit (oh that right I went Save the Last Dance quote on you) This jumper in particular has the power to make me feel so sexy specially on those days, that I am feeling a bit insecure.  I wore it before and this time I wanted to give the romper a more glamorous /mysterious look. Note of the day guys if you are feeling down, wear your best outfit.  You never know how your day may turn out. XOXO Charms of Penny

Rainy Days

Walking in the City on a rainy day is a reminder of how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful city.  Its full of mystery and adventure in each corner.  I love how the clouds cascade around the buildings and most importantly how the air feels after a rainy day it feels like a needed detox.  It is a great way to start a new refreshing week. Happy Monday everybody! XOXO Charms of Penny

Flower Fields

A few weeks ago I took a small road trip with my love all the way to Big Sur.  It is a location that its beauty is not explainable with words.  This flower field was so peaceful it was right by the beach.  Locations like this reminds me of how lucky I am to be alive.  In a few days I will be sharing the photographs of the complete trip.  Some of them have been posted to my Instagram @Ligerlily18 You can always catch me there on my new adventures. La Cuesta Encantada

{Dress: Tj Maxx, Wedges: BCBG, Hat: Forever 21} This is the trip that literally took my breath away.  I’ll start by saying this: my photographs give no justice to the beauty of this location. The view of this estate was breath taking in one corner I was able to see the Pacific Ocean on the next I was able to see the mountains.  The castle was a place where all the top celebrities would come by invitation and stay a couple of days in this beautiful location, people like Charlie Chaplin and Walt Disney were some of the guest that were privileged to be invited  to the castle.  As I was walking in the castle I was thinking of how amazing it would have been to be one of Hearst’s esteemed guests.   I dressed the part with my little white dress, you know and try to make it a little bit more special.  The dress reminded me in a way to the Roman era, one of the many themes the Castle held. My love and …
