Moments like these make me realize that I am incredibly lucky to be able to witness beauty with all its might. Taking the trip to San Diego to visit The Flowers Field is a place that I will definitely be visiting again.  This place was surrounded with colorful blossoming flowers every where I looked.  I was a kid at a candy store so many colors everywhere.  I could not believe how beautiful it was.  It reminded me of the Lavender Field in France, it is one of those place that I hope I can visit in the future.

Its hard to keep up with everything from my friends to family.  I know that all this struggles that I am facing in life will be worth it.   I am one step closer to receiving my AA degree in business  and that is literally talking, by the end of December I will be receiving my degree. California Girl

The number one thing I love about living in Southern California is the variety of beaches that are just a car ride away.  Besides the great weather year round, Southern Cali has the best destinations for mini vacations.  This past weekend I visited Manhattan Beach with my love and for the first time in a while  I was able to relax and enjoy the sounds of the ocean and the sounds of happy children playing on the beach.  Thanks to this day now I’m sporting a cute little tan.  By the way I never thought in my life that I would be able to rock a bathing suit the journey of fitness goal is very difficult, but I will not quit.  Second month in with just simply following a good diet and good exercise routines, I can’t wait for the upcoming months.   {TJ Maxx Dress, Steve Madden Gladiator Sandals, Forever 21 hat and accessories, Buffalo Exchange Bag} The word spontaneous accelerates my blood.   That and the word trip.  This past weekend my boyfriend and I decided to visit our love nest.  It is a place that was currently hit with tragedy and it saddened our heart that Santa Barbara was struck with such travesty.  It is a place that is filled with peacefulness and the news did not hit us until we were already driving to visit our “home” We tried not to think of what had occurred on the past days and our prayers do go out to the families of the victims. Everything about this trip was spontaneous.  From deciding to take our dear Penny for the first time on our small road trip to riding on the coast of Santa Barbara with Penny inside the basket.  I loved everything about it and this day will be marked in my heart forever.

{Dress: Forever 21 Love 21, Jewelry Forever 21, Sandal: Tjmaxx, Bag: Ay Que Vintage} The Venice Canals was a place that I have been dying to see.  I couldn’t help having in mind James Morrison walking through those canals and writing the best lyrics for the Doors.  It was a peaceful afternoon and yes ladies and gents the dress was very comfortable. I believe in comfort in fashion, besides looking great and expressing yourself through your fashion I believe in comfort, so this dress made me very happy. I am in love with the patterns, the colors, and the way it fit like a glove. The dress is boho chic the perfect companion to my dress was the purse it reminded me of a beautiful earth stone.

{Thrift Store white ruffled shirt, High rise shorts from TJ Maxx, Accesories Forever21 and Buffalo Exchange, Shoes Tj Maxx} Today we celebrate Cinco de Mayo, it is a celebration that is very misunderstood.  it is not time to drink up and to Mexican’s in Mexico it is not the true day celebrate the day of Mexico’s independence from France.  Mexico’s Independence is on September 16, Cinco de Mayo is the first battle Mexico won against France. I love my culture and very proud of where I was born.  I love the stories of Pancho Villa and knowing that Frida Kahlo shares my heritage is something that I am very proud of.  My outfit is a small glimpse of Frida Kahlo’s fashion, she was a true inspiration.  The bright colors, the ethnic patterns, and hair style is something I wanted to focus on I wanted it to look very similar to Frida Kahlo.

The magic of Disney filled my weekend.  This is a place where everyone’s inner child comes out and I am no exception of this expression.  Just thinking about this past weekend and the amount of sugar I consumed gets me hyper all over again. How is that a grown woman still gets excited to see Minnie Mouse? I should not even be questioning this because the magic of Disney never leaves anybody’s soul. Dreaming In Pink

{Forever 21 sunglasses and dress, Jeffrey Campbell heels, Ivanka Trump purse} I have a love hate relationship with the color pink.  Its one of those things that I hate to admit that I love.  The color is to darn chic to avoid.  Since it is spring I think that this color is more appropriate than ever.  It always reminds me of a cute princess.  As far as the heels, I know I can not keep my eyes of them as well.  They are my go to heels they always bring that extra bang or pop to my outfit.  It’s hard to believe that these heels are the most comfortable heels that I have in my closet.  It is like I am walking on cotton candy.  I can even have a Carrie moment from Sex and the City and run across town with these heels.  Ill share a secret my Jeffrey Campbell heels were only five bucks, these shoes were my hallelujah moment…they were basically free.
