        Gladiator Sandals: Steve Madden //Zara off-Shoulder Printed Dress// Summer is almost over.  I know we are taught to believe that summer is “officially” over after Labor Day, but I am a very technical person sooo…summer isn’t officially over till September 22.  I think I am just in denial that summer fun is a thing of the past.  Besides, in LA we are currently experiencing a crazy heat wave.  You know where I’ll be this weekend! The beach! Soaking up the sun.  I hope you all enjoy your weekend.

   Dress: State Pleated Overlay Dress   Pink Sandals similar here: Ugg I wanted to start preparing myself and say catch you later summer by wearing this gorgeous dress.  This dress automatically makes me feel like I am traveling in Europe enjoying a gelato and walking around the Trevi Fountain.  I’m the kind of person who is a summer junkie I love  being able to enjoy the sun’s rays, while I go to the beach or even as I head out to PCH for a scenic drive.  Don’t get me wrong I am looking forward for fall, but can I just have a couple of days more to enjoy summer with all its might?  I wore this 1.State dress that I’m currently obsessed with- I love the pastel rainbow colors and how the pleats on the the dress are so breezy. They kinda feel like a 1920’s silk dress.  I hope you all enjoy the last days of summer to there fullest!!!

Jogger Jeans, Kurt Geiger Heels, Top was bought at A Current Affair (a massive vintage sale in a warehouse in Down Town LA) There is something about man inspired outfits that makes me feel so liberated.  I am not saying that dressing like a man makes me feel powerful.  It is the action of not having to wear tight dresses and or revealing clothing to feel that much more confident.  We are so lucky to be able to rock both male and female clothing with a kick ass attitude.

Return of Beach Days

Sometimes all a girl needs is a bit of Cali sunshine and a walk down the beach to get her day started.  What better way to compliment my relaxed morning by wearing my favorite comfy Jeans and awesome coat. This coat is a great transition from winter to spring and I am in love with how it makes an outfit that much more fashion forward. I can’t wait for the days ahead.  Goodbye layers and hello to beach bumming it all summer.

The Forest Nymph

 I spent the majority of the time frolicking in this forest during our vacation.  It had the perfect scenic view full life and beauty.  It over looked the bluest ocean that I had ever seen before nothing compares to how peaceful I felt that day. I looked to my right and there where these acres of mighty green trees.  I felt like a mythical creature running and exploring this beautiful location.  The beauty of this is the location felt like a hidden gem. There was nobody around to enjoy this place and what it had to offer.  I was ready to witness the sun set to explore a new day.

Gloomy Roadtrips

    During the weekend my boyfriend and I decided to spontaneously take a small road trip to Hearst Castle again.  We just love taking trips it takes us away from normality into our own little world.  As suppose to last time the weather was very cold and foggy it gave the Castle I different look I focused more on photographing the location its just so beautiful.  Hearst Castle like last time left me dreaming of another era.

Flower Fields

  A few weeks ago I took a small road trip with my love all the way to Big Sur.  It is a location that its beauty is not explainable with words.  This flower field was so peaceful it was right by the beach.  Locations like this reminds me of how lucky I am to be alive.  In a few days I will be sharing the photographs of the complete trip.  Some of them have been posted to my Instagram @Ligerlily18 You can always catch me there on my new adventures. California Girl

The number one thing I love about living in Southern California is the variety of beaches that are just a car ride away.  Besides the great weather year round, Southern Cali has the best destinations for mini vacations.  This past weekend I visited Manhattan Beach with my love and for the first time in a while  I was able to relax and enjoy the sounds of the ocean and the sounds of happy children playing on the beach.  Thanks to this day now I’m sporting a cute little tan.  By the way I never thought in my life that I would be able to rock a bathing suit the journey of fitness goal is very difficult, but I will not quit.  Second month in with just simply following a good diet and good exercise routines, I can’t wait for the upcoming months. Spontaneous is my Middle Name

  {TJ Maxx Dress, Steve Madden Gladiator Sandals, Forever 21 hat and accessories, Buffalo Exchange Bag} The word spontaneous accelerates my blood.   That and the word trip.  This past weekend my boyfriend and I decided to visit our love nest.  It is a place that was currently hit with tragedy and it saddened our heart that Santa Barbara was struck with such travesty.  It is a place that is filled with peacefulness and the news did not hit us until we were already driving to visit our “home” We tried not to think of what had occurred on the past days and our prayers do go out to the families of the victims. Everything about this trip was spontaneous.  From deciding to take our dear Penny for the first time on our small road trip to riding on the coast of Santa Barbara with Penny inside the basket.  I loved everything about it and this day will be marked in my heart forever.

{Dress: Forever 21 Love 21, Jewelry Forever 21, Sandal: Tjmaxx, Bag: Ay Que Vintage} The Venice Canals was a place that I have been dying to see.  I couldn’t help having in mind James Morrison walking through those canals and writing the best lyrics for the Doors.  It was a peaceful afternoon and yes ladies and gents the dress was very comfortable. I believe in comfort in fashion, besides looking great and expressing yourself through your fashion I believe in comfort, so this dress made me very happy. I am in love with the patterns, the colors, and the way it fit like a glove. The dress is boho chic the perfect companion to my dress was the purse it reminded me of a beautiful earth stone.
